About This Watch

Reference 126300 is the entry point to the Datejust 41 in Oystersteel — arguably the most versatile configuration in the entire Rolex catalogue. Introduced as part of the 2016 Datejust 41 generation, the 126300 replaced the outgoing 116300, bringing with it an updated Oyster case with refined lugs and a smooth (non-fluted) bezel. The white dial with applied index hour markers and a date aperture at three o'clock is the canonical Datejust dial — a layout that has defined the model since 1945 and remains immediately legible at a glance.

Calibre 3235 powers the 126300, representing the current state of the art in Rolex self-winding movements. Its bi-directional Perpetual rotor wind the mainspring efficiently in both directions, achieving a 70-hour power reserve — nearly double that of the Calibre 3135 it replaced. The movement features 14 patents and incorporates the Chronergy escapement alongside a Parachrom hairspring, delivering COSC-certified chronometer precision of +/-2 seconds per day. The Jubilee bracelet, standard on this reference, has been progressively refined and now features the Easylink 5mm extension system.

For collectors and first-time Rolex buyers alike, the 126300 white index on Jubilee is the modern Datejust in its purest, most timeless form. Resale values are robust, with well-maintained examples retaining 80-90% of retail price. Its versatility — equally appropriate at a boardroom presentation or a weekend dinner — makes it arguably the most rational entry in the Rolex line.
