Redesigned for Baselworld 2018, reference 126203 in Yellow Rolesor represents the thoroughly modernised Datejust 36, updated with refined case geometry — slimmer lugs, more pronounced bevels — and the significant technical upgrade of Calibre 3235, Rolex's self-winding movement of the Datejust's current generation. The 3235 brings a 70-hour power reserve (up from the 48 hours of the outgoing 3135), the highly optimised Chronergy escapement with its nickel-phosphorus components, and the Parachrom hairspring — a constellation of improvements that position it among the most technically accomplished automatic movements in production.

The Yellow Rolesor specification pairs an Oystersteel Monobloc middle case with an 18-karat yellow-gold screw-down crown and domed bezel, the warm gold tones creating an immediately recognisable two-tone aesthetic that has been part of the Datejust's identity since the late 1940s. The silver dial, designated Jubilee in reference to the bracelet with which it is paired, carries 10 diamond hour markers whose individually graded stones are set by Rolex's in-house gem-setting atelier — a detail that elevates the reference beyond the purely horological into the realm of fine jewellery.
