On ref. 126233, that iconic element is realised in 18-carat yellow gold — its 44 precisely milled grooves catching light at every angle and providing vivid contrast against the Oystersteel middle case of the 36 mm Oyster architecture. The black dial is set with ten diamond hour markers, each individually selected and grain-set within the lacquer field so that only the table facets are visible — a technique demanding exceptional precision from Rolex's in-house lapidary team.
