At its heart beats the Calibre 240 Q, an ultra-thin self-winding movement whose peripheral rotor — rather than the conventional central rotor — keeps the movement profile extraordinarily slender at 9.95mm total case thickness. The perpetual calendar mechanism reads the varying lengths of every month, accounting for leap years without requiring manual correction until 1 March 2100. Day, date, month, leap year, a 24-hour indication, and moon phases are all articulated by hands on a dial of silvery vertical-and-horizontal satin finish — the so-called Shantung effect — punctuated by rose gold applied numerals with white luminescent coating.

The sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement's finishing in full: the 22-karat gold micro-rotor, the bevelled and mirror-polished components, the côtes de Genève striping all executed to Geneva Seal standards.
