The 42 mm brushed AISI 316L stainless steel case references the proportions of the 1950s originals supplied to Italian frogmen — compact enough for a modern wrist, substantial enough to command attention. Every surface of the tonneau-shaped cushion case is brushed to a matte satin that shrugs off light and saltwater alike, while the polished steel bezel frames the dial with architectural precision.

The P.9010 calibre automatic movement — developed entirely in-house at Panerai's Neuchâtel manufacture — powers the watch through 72 hours of autonomy across three days of reserves. Visible through the sapphire crystal exhibition caseback, the rotor oscillates with the measured efficiency of Swiss engineering married to Italian design philosophy. At the dial, a black face carries luminous Arabic numerals and baton hour markers that echo the sandwich construction Panerai pioneered: a top dial layer cut to reveal a luminous substrate beneath, producing indices that glow with exceptional intensity after dark.
