Carbotech is a proprietary composite: layers of carbon fibre set in PEEK polymer at elevated temperature and pressure, producing a case that is extremely light, exceptionally rigid, and visually unlike any metal — its marbled, organic grain pattern making every example technically unique.

The dark-grey sail dial references Luna Rossa's racing sails directly, its surface treatment capturing the matte, wind-filled texture of high-performance sailcloth. Luminescent Arabic numerals define the hour positions, while the P.9100/R automatic calibre manages the chronograph functions that regatta sailing demands: a flyback-enabled timer with hour counter at 3 o'clock, small seconds at 9 o'clock, and central chronograph seconds and minute hands.
