Chronograph complications have always required a particular confidence to integrate into the Luminor architecture — a case designed first for the demands of combat diving rather than the measurement of elapsed intervals. The Luminor Chrono PAM01110 meets that challenge with aplomb, housing the P.9200 in-house automatic chronograph calibre within the familiar 44 mm AISI 316L brushed steel cushion case and expressing its additional functionality through a dial of striking chromatic personality: a blue sun-brushed surface that pools light across its face with the same quality as deep, clear water.

The chronograph architecture is expressed through a hollowed minutes counter at 3 o'clock — its aperture revealing movement depth — and a small-seconds counter at 9, the central chronograph seconds hand sweeping the full diameter with theatrical precision. The tachymeter scale, engraved into the external rehaut rather than printed on the dial, adds a layer of functional information without cluttering the blue surface. Arabic numerals and baton hour markers in superluminova maintain legibility under any light conditions, while the Luminor crown-protecting bridge performs its dual function with the mechanical authority that defines the collection.

The P.9200 calibre — developed and manufactured in-house at Le Brassus — features a column wheel and vertical clutch for smooth chronograph activation, its automatic winding rotor ensuring the movement stays wound through normal wear. A steel bracelet completes the specification, hardwearing and precisely finished, appropriate for a chronograph intended to measure real events rather than imagined ones. Water resistance to 10 bar (~100 metres) provides ample margin for the watch's working life. Priced at $8,795.
