The Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat 5367 in platinum answers this challenge with calibre 581, a self-winding tourbillon movement measuring just 3 mm in height — among the thinnest of its kind in production watchmaking. Housed in a 41 mm platinum case that reaches only 7.45 mm in overall thickness, the 5367PT/29/9WU achieves a disc-like flatness that remains among the most striking objects Breguet has ever produced.

The Grand Feu enamel dial is prepared through a succession of high-temperature firings in a kiln, each layer of vitreous enamel fused to the copper substrate at temperatures exceeding 800 degrees Celsius. The result is a surface of exceptional depth and chromatic stability — immune to fading, impervious to scratching in ordinary use, and possessed of a translucency that no paint, lacquer, or printed dial can approach. Breguet numerals are applied with the same restraint that has defined the maison's dial philosophy since the eighteenth century. The sapphire crystal caseback frames the tourbillon's one-minute rotation against the movement's bevelled and polished bridges.
