Emmanuel Gueit's 1993 brief was to take Gerald Genta's Royal Oak and amplify every dimension — the result was the Royal Oak Offshore, a chronograph that rewrote the language of luxury sports watches. Reference 26470OR brings that maximalist vision to 18K pink gold, a 42 mm case measuring 14.6 mm thick and engineered to withstand 100 metres of water pressure with its screw-locked crown and black ceramic pushpieces intact.

Inside, Calibre 3126/3840 — a column-wheel integrated chronograph movement with a vertical clutch — delivers hours, minutes, small seconds at 9 o'clock, date at 3 o'clock, and a central chronograph seconds hand, all underpinned by approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The grey ruthenium-toned Mega Tapisserie dial is one of AP's most technically demanding surfaces: the enlarged hobnail guillochage requires precise CNC milling and individual hand-polishing, its ivory-toned counters contrasting handsomely against the ruthenium ground. Pink gold Arabic numerals carry beige Super-LumiNova for assured legibility.

A grey large square-scale alligator strap with an 18K pink gold deployant buckle completes the configuration, offering wearability without diminishing the case's imposing presence.
