Calibre 4302 represents a significant step forward from earlier Royal Oak movements: its modular date mechanism is more precise, its power reserve substantially extended, and its decoration refined to current AP standards, with bevelling, anglage, and surface treatments applied throughout. The movement is visible through a transparent sapphire caseback, where the 22-carat gold oscillating weight rotates above a baseplate finished with the circular graining characteristic of AP's movement aesthetic.
