For serious watch buyers and sellers only.
Send me the reference number (yours, or the one you're thinking of buying) and I'll send you a real dealer's valuation within 24 hours. Plus first look at every new piece before it hits the public.
Free. No card. Just your email.
25 free valuations per week. When the queue fills, the link closes until Monday.
You've felt this.
You're three tabs deep on Chrono24. Same exact reference. $19,400. $24,750. $31,200.
Which one is the real number?
Or maybe you're on the other side. You've owned a Sub for twelve years. The pawnshop offered you 60% of what you paid. Your buddy says list it on eBay. Your other buddy says don't list it on eBay. The local dealer wants you to walk in for an “evaluation.”
You don't have time for this.
You just want one straight answer:
What is this watch actually worth? Right now. This market. Today.
That's all this is.
I'm Sean. I run 5D Watches. I move serious pieces every week: Subs, Daytonas, Royal Oaks, Nautiluses, Speedmasters, the whole catalog.
And the same two questions come across my desk a hundred times a month:
Same question, opposite directions. Both deserve a real answer.
So I built The 5D Insider's Watch Brief.
Drop your email. Tell me the watch. I send back a real dealer's valuation (low, mid, high) based on what's actually selling in the market this week.
Not Hodinkee averages from 2022. Not pawnshop math.
Real numbers. This market. Today.
And while we're at it, I'll put you on the inside of everything else 5D sees: early inventory, market reports, trade desk, the works.
Five things. All free. No catch.
Send me the reference number (or a photo). I'll send back a real dealer valuation: low, mid, and high, based on what's selling right now, not last year. Grading houses charge $150-$400 for this. You get it free.
Every new piece I get in, you see it 48 hours before it hits the public site or Instagram. The good ones don't last. By the time it's public, my best clients have already called dibs.
A no-fluff monthly newsletter: which references climbed last month, which dropped, what the smart money is moving on, and what I'm watching at auction. The kind of data most dealers keep for themselves.
Already own a watch? Tell me what it is. I'll show you what you can trade into, with cash on top, or take home a piece worth 2-3x what you currently own without writing the full check.
Reply to any email I send. I read it. No bots. No VAs. No support tickets. You're not a number. You're talking to the guy whose name is on the door.
You're considering buying a $5k+ luxury watch and want to make sure you're not overpaying
You own a watch and you're thinking about selling, but you don't want to get lowballed
You want to know what's actually moving in the market without scrolling forum threads at midnight
You'd rather talk to one real dealer than dodge fifteen 'Hi sir, beautiful watch' DMs
This isn't for you if…
You're trying to flip a $400 Seiko (no judgment, wrong dealer)
You trust anonymous strangers on Reddit over a licensed dealer
You're not actually serious about buying or selling
You think "cheapest" is a respectable way to negotiate
My background is in consulting, risk management, and alternative asset investing. I came to watches the same way I came to real estate and classic cars: as an analyst looking for where the market misprice things. What I found was a space where sellers were getting consistently taken advantage of. So I built 5D to fix that.
The lowballs. The ghosting. The pressure tactics. The “I'll give you 60% and you should be grateful.” That's not how I do it.
You can call me. You can email me. You can text me. I will pick up.
That's the whole pitch.
Sean, 5D Watches
Is this really free?
Yes. No card. No trial. No 'and just $9 a month after.' Just your email.
Why are you giving this away?
Two reasons. One: if I value your watch and we end up doing business, great for both of us. Two: even if we don't, you tell two friends I gave you a straight answer. That's how this business actually grows in 2026.
How long does the valuation take?
24 hours, usually less. Vintage and unusual configurations sometimes take a bit longer. I'll tell you up front if I need more time.
Will you blow up my inbox?
No. The Crown Report hits once a month. New inventory pings go out only when there's something actually worth showing you. If I'm quiet, it's because there's nothing worth saying.
What brands do you cover?
Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Vacheron, JLC, Tudor, Grand Seiko. The serious stuff. If I can't value it, I'll tell you who can.
Do I have to sell my watch to you to get the valuation?
No. The number is yours, no strings. If you want to sell to me after, we can talk. If you want to take the number and shop it elsewhere, godspeed.
What if I'm thinking about buying a watch from someone else and just want a second opinion?
That's exactly what this is for. Send me the listing, send me the seller's photos, send me whatever you've got. I'll tell you what I think. Straight up.
I do 25 of these a week. When the queue fills up, the link closes until next Monday.
If you've got a watch on your mind (yours or one you're chasing), drop your email below. I'll get you a real answer in 24 hours.
Takes 10 seconds. Zero risk. Just your email.
